My role was expanded to include developing digital assets in 2020. I have worked on several email designs, including setting up the email templates in SalesForce Marketing Cloud.

I have worked on some Point of Sale items, including coupons, signage, and posters. I worked on in store signage for Kohl’s, Macy’s, JC Penney’s, Belk, and our local Brand Shop. I have also worked on spotlight banners for accounts like Kohl’s.

These are some examples of A+ content created for Amazon, for both mobile and desktop formats in some instances. These feature the individual modules mocked up together to demonstrate how they would work together on the product pages.

These are some alt imagery examples in both 3000x4000 and 3000x3000 formats, sizes that differ depending on retailer needs.

These are size charts designed for use online.

One project I really had fun working on was mocking up a Vanity Fair brand page for Target.com as part of our pitch to sell on Target’s online store. We are now featured on Target’s online store.

Packaging Update for 2020 Seasons

In 2019, I took charge of updating over 100 packaging pieces for our entire Vanity Fair® collection. This involved working with marketing in 2018 to finalize the new packaging design and then apply the new design to all existing and upcoming styles in 2019. We also organized and provided direction at a week-long photoshoot to update all model imagery. The below features only some of the designs.

Throughout the course of this project, which spanned most of 2019, we worked closely with Marketing, Purchasing, and Product Information to ensure artwork was final, sent to the appropriate print vendor, and updated correctly on relevant style packets. Packaging was sent in several waves to print vendors with whom we worked through an additional proof approval process before packaging production.

I was responsible for setting up all art files on template with accurate production information, getting approval from all relevant departments including Marketing, Packaging Engineering and Legal, and placing all inventory part numbers on our shared Project Tracker. On that shared spreadsheet I also tracked the artwork sent, proofs received, and proof approval dates so other teams would know when new packaging could be ordered.

A full overview of packaging I have set up and can be found here.

Sam’s Club

We had the opportunity to test one of our most successful styles at Sam’s Club, which involved developing a multi-pack box and a merchandising tray. Vanity Fair had not created a boxed product before, and this was a very fast moving project. I worked closely with marketing, packaging engineering, and purchasing to develop the box and tray designs.

I created the dieline for the box production and design based off of measurements provided by the packaging engineer. I developed original graphics that tied back to our usual Department Chain packaging, working with feedback from Marketing. The box is acetate, a substrate we do not typically use, and the usual brand Pantone color was printing too light and too blue. I worked with my Creative Manager to choose up to 3 other Pantone colors to test, and thankfully one of them worked to ensure that the packaging matched the paper-printed tray it was to be merchandised in.
